At Salt & Light, we take a whole-person approach to speech-language and myofunctional therapy recognizing the deep connection between communication, oral function, and overall well-being. Our mission is to support each client's journey toward improved function, health, and quality of life while fostering a stronger more connected community.
Salt & Light offers evaluations, speech therapy, language therapy, and myofunctional therapy for clients ages 2 to 92 in the greater Birmingham area.

Hi, I'm Amanda the founder of Salt & Light Speech-Language Resources. My focus is on providing intentional care for my clients and their families.
I graduated with my master's degree in speech-language pathology from The University of Montevallo in 2018. I'm also on my second career after practicing as a physical therapy assistant for 15 years. I am beyond thrilled to have my private practice in Vestavia Hills, AL. My specific areas of expertise include speech sound disorders, dysphagia, aphasia, stuttering, language delays, and orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs).
